2012 MLB Draft Order: Where The Mariners Will Pick

The 2012 MLB Draft begins on Monday and will run through Wednesday. The Mariners once again have a very high pick, which is one of the happy side effects of having a lousy record for another year.

The Mariners will have the No. 3 overall pick, barring a trade of the selection slot to another team. They will select after the Houston Astros and Minnesota Twins and will have an enormous crop of talent to select from.

The Mariners are rumored to be looking for a legitimate hitting prospect with their first pick this year, which makes sense as they have a big surplus of young, live arms in the system but their offense is still looking like the weak link and needs more players in the pipeline for the offense of the future to begin to take a cohesive form.

Here's the full draft order for Monday's first round.
