The Seattle Mariners will be happy to get back to Safeco Field. Although their recent road trip started off well with a sweep of the formidable Detroit Tigers, they ended up being the several-time hard luck losers while being swept in four games by the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Minnesota Twins are also fresh off being swept, suffering the ignominy of giving the Los Angeles Angels their first sweep of the season. The final game involved them being no-hit by Jered Weaver. The Mariners know that sting all too well, as they were the victims of a Philip Humber perfect game during their last series at Safeco.

The good news is that one of these teams will end their losing streak on Friday. The M's are hoping they'll be the ones coming out on top.

TV Schedule & Probable Pitchers

On Friday, the game will begin at 7:10 p.m. PT and will be televised on ROOT Sports. You can catch the radio broadcast on 710 ESPN. Seattle will send possibly their most consistent pitcher this year, Jason Vargas,up against Carl Pavano, who is 1-2 with a 4.91 ERA.

On Saturday, the game will begin at 6:10 p.m. PT and will be televised on ROOT Sports. You can catch the radio broadcast on 710 ESPN. Seattle ace Felix Hernandez will take on Jason Marquis, who is 2-1 but holds a 6.23 ERA.

Sunday's finale will begin at 1:10 p.m. PT and will be televised on ROOT Sports. You can catch the radio broadcast on 710 ESPN. Hector Noesi has gotten shelled in a few of his starts this year. He'll take the hill opposite Nick Blackburn, whose early season has been similarly unkind. Blackburn is 0-3 with a 6.64 ERA.
