Mariners Vs. Rockies Final Score: Seattle Snaps Losing Streak With 4-0 Win

On Friday, the Seattle Mariners entered interleague play holding a four-game losing streak, but it appears that Coors Field was just what the doctor ordered to get the M's back in the win column. The hometown Colorado Rockies were held scoreless by a second consecutive strong start from Kevin Millwood as Seattle picked up the 4-0 victory.

The Mariners once again opened the scoring in the top of the first, when Kyle Seager singled home Michael Saunders with two outs. Mike Carp hit a solo home run in the top of the third inning. Kyle Seager hit a sacrifice fly in the sixth to bring home Ichiro Suzuki and make it 3-0. The final Seattle run came in the top of the ninth on another sacrifice fly, this time with John Jaso driving in Seager. Suzuki and Seager each had two-hit games.

Millwood tossed an absolute gem in Coors Field, where it's nearly impossible to keep the ball in the park. Millwood got his second victory of 2012 with a complete game shutout, allowing just two hits and one walk, while striking out seven.
