On Tuesday, the Seattle Mariners will resume their opening homestand at Safeco Field, as the Cleveland Indians come to town. The Mariners are fresh off their second winning series against the Oakland Athletics and hoping to keep the wins rolling. The M's are currently 6-5 and look to add some victories to their winning record.
Tuesday's opener will start at 7:10 p.m. PT and will air on ROOT Sports. The game will be broadcast on 710 ESPN in the Northwest. The starting pitchers will be Kevin Millwood for the Mariners -- who was great in his first start but didn't pick up the decision -- and Justin Masterson for the Indians, who has an 0-1 record and a 2.77 ERA.
On Wednesday, it will be another 7:10 p.m. PT start. The game will again be televised on ROOT Sports and the radio broadcast will air on 710 ESPN. The 1-1 Jason Vargas will get his third start against Derek Lowe, who has put up a great 1.98 ERA and is 2-0 on the young season.
Thursday's finale will have another 7:10 p.m. PT start. The game will once again be televised on ROOT Sports and the radio broadcast will air on 710 ESPN. Ace Felix Hernandez takes the hill, looking to improve on his 1-1 record and 3.80 ERA. M's hitters will be looking to take advantage of starting pitcher Josh Tomlin, who brings an 8.31 ERA into the game.
