Carlos Peguero Stings Line Drive Home Run On Monday Night

Carlos Peguero hit one of the more powerful home runs I've seen in a while last night as the Seattle Mariners took on the Minnesota Twins. In the sixth, Peguero stepped to the plate and stung a pitch straight down the right field line. It wasn't notable for how far it traveled, but instead deserves attention for just how fast it got out of the yard.

During the broadcast, the announcers mentioned Peguero's home run took just a shade over 2.75 seconds from impact to landing. And it was hit on a rope.
