The Seattle Mariners have confirmed the hiring of Eric Wedge, as reported on Friday. Wedge will be introduced at a press conference today at 1 p.m.
Eric Wedge, who led the Indians to the American League Championship Series in 2007, was named manager of the Mariners on Monday.
Wedge will be formally introduced to the media as the 15th full-time manager in team history during a 1 p.m. PT news conference Tuesday at Safeco Field.
