The Seahawks clinched a playoff berth last week, but Seattle will still be playing for something when they host the St. Louis Rams in the regular season finale on Sunday.
With a win and a San Francisco loss, the Seahawks would win the NFC West. Seattle can also clinch the No. 2 seed in the NFC and a first-round bye if the Seahawks win and both the 49ers and Green Bay Packers lose. Beyond the playoffs, Seattle can also complete an undefeated season at home with a win against St. Louis. The Seahawks are 7-0 at home this season, joining the Atlanta Falcons as the only teams yet to lose a home game this season.
Sunday's game will be the second meeting between the teams this season. St. Louis won the first matchup, 19-13, in Week 4. That game may have been Russell Wilson's worst of the season as he threw for just 160 yards while being intercepted three times. Since that game, Wilson has thrown 21 touchdowns to only six interceptions.
While Seattle may be the hottest team in the NFL, the Rams have also been playing well as of late. St. Louis has won four of its last five games, including a 28-13 win against Tampa Bay last week. The Rams are yet to lose a division game this season as they enter Sunday's contest with a 4-0-1 record against NFC West opponents.
