NFL schedule 2012: Seahawks hope for some help in Week 17

The Seahawks are already in the playoffs, but still have a shot at a first-round bye in the season's final week.

Steve Dykes

The Seattle Seahawks host the St. Louis Rams with hope still alive for a division title in Week 17 of the 2012 NFL schedule. Seattle needs to beat the Rams to have a shot, and St. Louis has yet to lose to a division foe this year. The Rams beat the Seahawks in the first meeting between the two teams this year.

The Seahawks will be keeping an eye of the scoreboard to see how the San Francisco 49ers are faring against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. San Francisco can clinch the NFC West with a win, and can grab a first round bye if that is coupled with a loss by the Green Bay Packers.

The Packers visit the Vikings, and the Seahawks will also have an eye on that score. Losses by the Packers and 49ers along with a Seattle win means the Seahawks would get a bye in the first round of the playoffs.
