The Seattle Seahawks continue to battle injuries as they prepare for Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers

Wide receiver Sidney Rice missed practice for the second straight day on Thursday as he is hampered by a knee injury. Rice has been battling a number of injuries in recent weeks, including foot and head injuries. He missed the first two days of practice last week but still played against the Buffalo Bills.

While Seattle got a boost along the defensive line, as defensive tackle Alan Branch fully participated on Thursday, they continue to be plagued by injuries in the secondary. Cornerbacks Marcus Trufant and Walter Thurmond sat out again on Thursday with hamstring issues, while backup safety Jeron Johnson was limited with a groin injury. Starting cornerback Richard Sherman also missed practice on Thursday, but his absence was not injury related.

Kick returner Leon Washington returned to practice after missing Wednesday with an illness. The complete injury report can be found at Seahawks.com.
