Pro Bowl voting 2013 results: Little Seahawks representation in fan voting

The Seattle Seahawks did not earn much representation in the fan voting portion for the 2013 NFL Pro Bowl.

No Seattle Seahawks player was the most voted for player at his respective position in the 2013 NFL Pro Bowl fan ballot, which accounts for one-third of the final vote.

The other two-thirds are accounted for in coach and player votes, which could perhaps thrust a player like Marshawn Lynch into the Pro Bowl on Jan. 27. The final rosters will be announced Dec. 26.

Fan voting for the 2013 Pro Bowl ended on Monday, and the Denver Broncos' Peyton Manning led all players with 993,045 votes. New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was second with 908,099 votes, and Houston Texans running back Arian Foster was third with 829,591.

Notable high vote-getters in the NFC were Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, receiver Victor Cruz of the New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson.

The Packers led the NFC with six players receiving the most fan votes at their respective positions. The Seahawks' next opponent, the San Francisco 49ers, had five players win the voting totals at their positions. Inside linebacker Patrick Willis and defensive tackle Justin Smith highlighted the 49ers on the list.
