NFL Draft order 2013: Seahawks predicted for late 1st-round pick

The Seahawks are expected to advance to the playoffs, and that means a lower draft choice.

James Lang-US PRESSWIRE

With the NFL regular season winding down, most of April 2013's draft order will be set soon. The Seattle Seahawks are looking to make the playoffs and a run toward the Super Bowl, which means their first-round slot is still in question. As it stands now, Seattle will have a late first-round pick.

Mocking the Draft currently projects the Seahawks at No. 24, and that would change based on how far Seattle advances in the playoffs and where its final record ends up. The Seahawks sit at 9-5 with two games to play, which ties them for the seventh-best record in the NFL.

The No. 24 prospect on Mocking the Draft's 2013 big board is tight end Tyler Eifert of Notre Dame. However, the Seahawks have shown the propensity to go against what outside analysts predict, especially with their selections of Bruce Irvin and Russell Wilson last April.
