For the second straight day, the Seahawks were without several starters in practice. Defensive end Red Bryant, safety Kam Chancellor and wide receiver Sidney Rice were among the players sitting out on Thursday.
Missing practice is nothing new for Bryant, who continues to deal with a nagging foot injury. Bryant has missed a number of practices over the last few weeks, but he has still been able to suit up on game day. He missed practice Wednesday and Thursday last week, before practicing on a limited basis on Friday and playing on Sunday. Chancellor also played last week despite missing time in practice with a groin injury.
Rice's foot injury is new this week, but despite missing both days of practice, head coach Pete Carroll expects Rice to be available against the Bills. Cornerbacks Walter Thurmond and Marcus Trufant were also among the group of players not practicing on Thursday. Thurmond and Trufant sat out with hamstring injuries.
