Seahawks vs. Bears injury report: Red Bryant, Leroy Hill miss practice again

The Seahawks were once again without two defensive starters at Thursday's practice.

Steven Bisig-US PRESSWIRE

The Seattle Seahawks held their second practice of the week on Thursday, but were once again without defensive end Red Bryant and linebacker Leroy Hill.

Bryant continues to be bothered by a foot injury, which has affected him since Week 10. Bryant missed practice on Wednesday as well, but that doesn't necessarily mean he won't play on Sunday against the Bears. Last week, Bryant sat out Thursday before returning to practice on Friday and playing on Sunday. He also missed two days of practice due to the injury before playing against the New York Jets.

Hill also missed practice for the second straight day due to an ankle injury. Head coach Pete Carroll said Malcolm Smith would start at Hill's outside linebacker spot if Hill is unable to play against Chicago.

While Seattle was without Hill and Bryant on Thursday, running back Marshawn Lynch and defensive lineman Greg Scruggs fully participated in practice after being limited on Wednesday. The complete injury report can be found at Seahawks.com.
