The rookie safety has been suspended by the team, although no reason has been given for the suspension.

Seattle Seahawks rookie safety Winston Guy has been suspended four games for violating the NFL's policy on PEDs, according to a report from John P. Boyle of the Everett Herald.

Guy's agent said the 22-year-old took something over the counter containing something on the banned substance list, according to Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio KJR. His agent also added that Guy accepts responsibility for the violation, will not appeal, and will begin serving the suspension immediately.

Guy has played very little for the Seahawks this season, appearing in just two games while sitting behind Kam Chancellor and Jeron Johnson on the Seahawks' depth chart at strong safety. His most recent appearance came on Oct. 28 in the team's 28-24 loss to the Detroit Lions.

The former Kentucky Wildcat was a sixth-round pick of the Seahawks in the 2011 NFL Draft. As a three-year starter at Kentucky, Guy racked up 283 tackles. He had an impressive day at the NFL Scouting Combine in 2011, running the 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds and posting a 36-inch vertical jump.
