It looks like the Washington Huskies' worst nightmare has come to fruition.

Freshman guard Tony Wroten will follow fellow Huskies standout Terrence Ross to the NBA.

According to multiple tweets, Wroten has declared his intentions to enter the draft after only one season with the Huskies.

Wroten is quoted in one tweet saying, "Husky fans are the best in the nation... It was great that I stayed home and I know the UW will always be by my side."

Wroten definitely leaves a mark in his one season. He leaves after setting UW freshman scoring, assists and steals records while taking the Huskies to the NIT semifinals. He was the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year and a first team All-Pac-12 selection. He gave his reasons for leaving to gohuskies.com.

"I have been talking with my friends and family and I just felt like this was the right time," Wroten said of his decision that he decided to announce on the same day of his mother Shirley's birthday. "I love the University of Washington, but I just feel that it's best for me to make the jump."

Wroten is currently ranked as the no. 19 prospect in the draft by ESPN.com's Chad Ford.

Washington guard Terrence Ross is in the NBA Draft. He is one of a slew of college basketball stars to have already declared their intentions to enter the draft and has signed with an agent. With that part out of the way, now begins the evaluation of where Ross will land in the draft.

In a recent update of his 'In/out list' on ESPN.com, Chad Ford breaks down how Ross is viewed by the league at this stage in the process.

"Ross came into the season with a lot of hype, but for the most part, had an up and down season. He finished the season strong however, stringing together a number of big games for Washington in the NIT. Ross has the athletic ability scouts are looking for in a two guard and he's proved to be a solid shooter. He can be turnover prone and can sometimes have questionable shot selection, but overall he's one of the best guard prospects in this draft. He's a potential late-lottery to mid-first round pick."

The Huskies will definitely miss him but as it stands now, Ross is making the right decision to come out early and take his talents to the professional level.

Washington Huskies swing man Terrence Ross will declare for the 2012 NBA Draft, but won't hire an agent.

Terrence Ross of the Washington Huskies has been projected as a first round draft pick in many spots. His 2011-12 campaign definitely provided solid support there.

Ross had a solid sophomore season, shooting 51.8% from the field and 37.1% from three point range. He also managed to become a decent shot blocker while holding onto the basketball (he didn't turnover the basketball that much). At 6'6", 195, he's at the perfect position to become a solid two guard in the league.

Ross thinks so himself, and is ready to make the leap Jeff Borzello of CBS Sports has more.

Ross, a 6-foot-6 sophomore from Portland, plans to hire an agent, meaning he cannot withdraw and return to the Huskies.

"I discussed the pros and the cons with my family and I just think this is a great step for me and it's time for me to take my game to the next level," Ross said in a statement. "It's just been a real blessing to consider myself a Husky and get to where I am right now."

The Huskies have a great chance to contend for the Pac-12 title next season, but with no Ross it muddles the picture a bit. Ross's departure means that Washington will be hoping that Tony Wroten does decide to come back for the draft.
