<p>The <span class="caps">NFC</span> West clearly lacked the star power to pull a high number of Pro Bowl nods in 2011. Only four players from <span class="caps">NFC</span> West teams made the Pro Bowl roster, with no <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.fieldgulls.com/">Seattle Seahawks</a> among the selections. San Francisco led the way with a whopping two selections.</p>
<p>Around the <span class="caps">NFL</span>, here’s how it broke down by conference:</p>
<p><span class="caps">NFC</span> East (15 players): It was a balanced attack by the <span class="caps">NFC</span> East. The <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.bleedinggreennation.com/">Philadelphia Eagles</a> and <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.bloggingtheboys.com/">Dallas Cowboys</a> each had five selections while the <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.bigblueview.com/">New York Giants</a> had four. Washington had just one.</p>
<p><span class="caps">NFC</span> South (11 players): It was a one-man show in the <span class="caps">NFC</span> South. The <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/atlanta-falcons">Atlanta Falcons</a> led the <span class="caps">NFC</span> with seven selections in 2011, taking the majority of the <span class="caps">NFC</span> South’s 11 picks.</p>
<p><span class="caps">NFC</span> North (12 players): The <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.acmepackingcompany.com/">Green Bay Packers</a> may be chasing the <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.windycitygridiron.com/">Chicago Bears</a> in the standings, but they did top the Bears by one Pro Bowl selection. The <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.dailynorseman.com/">Minnesota Vikings</a> had one player chosen — Adrian Peterson — and the <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.prideofdetroit.com/">Detroit Lions</a> had two — <span>Calvin Johnson</span> and <span>Ndamukong Suh</span>.</p>
<p>And thus, you see the balance in power in the <span class="caps">NFC</span>. More accurately, you see where the talent is not. Three divisions with 11 or more selections and one, the <span class="caps">NFC</span> West, with four.</p>
<p>The 2011 Pro Bowl takes place in Hawaii on Jan. 30, 2011, just one week before the Super Bowl.</p>

<p>The 2011 Pro Bowl rosters for the <span class="caps">AFC</span> and <span class="caps">NFC</span> were released on Tuesday, with nary a Seahawk on the roster. The <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.fieldgulls.com/">Seattle Seahawks</a> join the <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.buffalorumblings.com/">Buffalo Bills</a>, <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.cincyjungle.com/">Cincinnati Bengals</a> and <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.bucsnation.com/">Tampa Bay Buccaneers</a> as teams without a player on the roster. The <span class="caps">NFC</span> will be led by Mike Vick this year while the <span class="caps">AFC</span>, unsurprisingly, will feature <span>Tom Brady</span> at the helm.</p>
<p>It’s hard to argue with no Seahawks being represented this year. Despite being just one game from the <span class="caps">NFC</span> West crown and the playoffs, nobody has stood out enough to warrant a spot. The only player that has had an outstanding year, specialist and running back <span>Leon Washington</span>, is staring up at <span>Devin Hester</span> on the roster.</p>
<p>In the <span class="caps">NFC</span> West, the <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/st-louis-rams">Rams</a>, <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.ninersnation.com/">49ers</a> and <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.revengeofthebirds.com/">Cardinals</a> all have at least one player on the <span class="caps">NFC</span> roster. Arizona safety <span>Adrian Wilson</span> was named a starter on the defensive end, along with San Francisco linebacker <span>Patrick Willis</span>. Steven Jackson and 49ers defensive lineman Justin Smith also made the roster as reserves..</p>
<p>The full Pro Bowl rosters for both the <span class="caps">NFC</span> and <span class="caps">AFC</span> can be found <a href="http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2010/12/28/1900658/2011-pro-bowl-rosters-announced-nfl-network" target="_blank">here</a>.</p>

<p>The Pro Bowl fan vote was announced on Wednesday and, as expected, no <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.fieldgulls.com/">Seattle Seahawks</a> are in sight. With nearly 100 million votes cast, <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.patspulpit.com/">New England Patriots</a> quarterback <span>Tom Brady</span> leads the way in 2010, pickup up nearly 1.9 million votes. Considering his past, it's somewhat surprising <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.bleedinggreennation.com/">Philadelphia Eagles</a> quarterback Mike Vick leads the way in the NFC, picking up 1.5 million votes. Vick, however, has surely earned the Pro Bowl nod with his stellar, and electrifying, performance on the field this season.</p>
<p>The Seahawks have struggled through a disappointing season, though they still remain in the thick of the playoff race. With the NFC West in such poor shape, it's no surprise the Pro Bowl fan vote features zero Seahawks and only one player from the NFC West. That player? <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.revengeofthebirds.com/">Arizona Cardinals</a> punter <span>Ben Graham</span>. That tells you all you need to know about the division.</p>
<p>The NFC list is dominated by three teams, with multiple players from the <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/atlanta-falcons">Atlanta Falcons</a>, <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.windycitygridiron.com/">Chicago Bears</a> and <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.acmepackingcompany.com/">Green Bay Packers</a> receiving nods. The Packers lead the way with four players garnering the most votes at their positions.</p>
<p>Pro Bowl teams will be announced on Dec. 28. The Pro Bowl will be played on Jan. 30, 2011 at Sun Life Stadium, just one week ahead of the Super Bowl.</p>
