<p>The <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/teams/oregon-ducks">Oregon Ducks</a> have made it through the season without a blemish on their record, dropping the Oregon State Beavers in the Civil War, 37-20. The win puts the Ducks into the <span class="caps">BCS</span> National Championship Game, a notion that will be confirmed when the final <span class="caps">BCS</span> rankings are released tomorrow.</p>
<p>The Ducks did it on the ground, as they have all season, using both <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/players/37388/lamichael-james">LaMichael James</a> and <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/players/37392/kenjon-barner">Kenjon Barner</a> to gash the Beavers. James finished with 134 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries. Barner did more with less, finishing with 133 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.</p>
<p>The Ducks held Oregon State’s <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/players/37413/jacquizz-rodgers">Jacquizz Rodgers</a> in check all afternoon, limiting the explosive back to just 87 yards on the ground. With Rodgers out of the picture, <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/players/37418/ryan-katz">Ryan Katz</a> had to shoulder the load and carry the offense. To an extent, he did, passing for 227 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/players/77807/markus-wheaton">Markus Wheaton</a> was the biggest benefactor, catching 10 passes for 140 yards and a touchdown. Rodgers also hauled-in a touchdown out of the backfield.</p>
<p>The Ducks finished the regular season a perfect 12-0, atop the Pac-10 and in the top-2 of the <span class="caps">BCS</span>. Oregon State finished the year at 5-7, just missing bowl eligibility. Congratulations to the Pac-10 champion, and <span class="caps">BCS</span> bound, Oregon Ducks.</p>

<p>The <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/teams/oregon-ducks">Oregon Ducks</a> are just minutes away from a trip to Glendale for the BCS National Championship. The Ducks are controlling the Oregon State Beavers halfway through the fourth quarter, 37-13. It's death by ground for the Ducks again this week, as <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/players/37388/lamichael-james">LaMichael James</a> and <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/players/37392/kenjon-barner">Kenjon Barner</a> have combined to run-over the Beavers in Corvallis. Combined, the pair of explosive backs have 160 yards and two touchdowns.</p>
<p>The Beavers struck first, when <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/players/37418/ryan-katz">Ryan Katz</a> connected with <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/players/37413/jacquizz-rodgers">Jacquizz Rodgers</a> for six yards and the score. The Ducks battled back, with <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/players/37379/darron-thomas">Darron Thomas</a> hitting Kenjon Barner for three yards and the score. A <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/players/77721/rob-beard">Rob Beard</a> field goal and LaMichael James touchdown run sent the Ducks into the half up 16-7.</p>
<p>The Ducks haven't looked back, controlling the game and keeping the Beavers at bay. Thomas has passed for 145 yards and two touchdowns, supplementing the powerful run game when necessary. <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/players/19264/jeff-maehl">Jeff Maehl</a> leads the Oregon receivers with 86 yards on seven catches, with <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/players/9188/d-j-davis">D.J. Davis</a> adding a touchdown.</p>
<p>It's all but over in Corvallis, with the Ducks cruising late in the fourth. With the win, Oregon is assured a spot in the BCS Championship, likely against the <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/teams/auburn-tigers">Auburn Tigers</a>.<span style="white-space: pre;"> </span></p>
