Former Seattle Seahawks tight end Jerramy Stevens and two-time gold medal winning soccer star Hope Solo officially tied the knot on Tuesday after an alleged assault and a court appearance, according to the Seattle Times.

The ceremony and reception occurred just a few hours after Stevens and Solo appeared in Kirkland Municipal Court following the former Huskies football star's alleged assault of his fiancee in early Monday morning. A stun gun was reportedly used to break up the altercation.

Police officers were called to the home of Solo on Monday by her brother, Marcus, and Stevens was arrested after he was found hiding in a bedroom.

Stevens is no stranger to encounters with the law. His lengthy rap sheet includes extreme DUI (blood alcohol content twice the legal limit), reckless driving, possession of marijuana, assault, sexual assault, and felony battery. He is a stranger to the football field however, as he has not been in uniform since 2010.

The couple has reportedly been dating for two months.
