2012 British Open: TV Coverage, How To Watch Online And More

The 2012 British Open, as with most other PGA events this year, has been full of surprises. While odds-on favorite to win Tiger Woods is still very much in the hunt, American player Brandt Snedeker has rocketed to the top of the leaderboard and holds a convincing lead as Saturday's third round gets underway. For those of us in the Northwest, the round will be kicking off very early.

Round 3 will tee off at 12:10 a.m. PT in England. The TV coverage will be bright and early for American viewers at 4 a.m. PT joining the round live in progress. The R&A sends out the entire field all at once, rather than staggering the golfers on the front and back nine, providing a long day of coverage.

The third round will also be available online through multiple live streaming options. ESPN3 will show footage from Round 3 beginning at 2 a.m. PT and then mirror the live coverage on ESPN at 4 a.m. PT. ESPN3 will show holes No. 1 through No. 18 in their entirety beginning at 4 a.m. PT.

TheOpen.com will also provide streaming of the third round via livestream.com starting at 2 a.m. PT.

You can find the complete leaderboard here.
