The 141st British Open Championship has revealed its draw for the tournament, and probably the biggest news of that is when Tiger Woods is teeing off.
Woods is going for his fourth British Open victory and will be in the same group as Englishman Justin Rose and Spaniard Sergio Garcia, ranked 9th and 23rd in the world respectively.
The two local boys, Gig Harbor product Kyle Stanley and previous Tacoma resident Troy Kelly have much less intimidating groups to tee off with. Stanley will tee off at 7:58 with fellow U.S.A. resident Stephen Ames, ranked 423rd, and Englishman Robert Rock, ranked 60th.
Troy Kelly tees off in the second to last group alongside Morten Orum Madsen and Anirban Lahiri. The Danish Madsen is ranked 560th and the Indian born Lahiri is ranked 226th.
