U.S. Open Golf 2012 Leaderboard: Jim Furyk Opens 2 Stroke Lead, Tiger Woods Fails To Rebound From Saturday's Struggle

The leaders are on the course in Round 4 of the 2012 U.S. Open, and in the early going Jim Furyk has taken the lead. He has been able to hold par while bogeys on holes three and five sent Garame McDowell to 1-over, leaving Furyk as the sole man in the lead. Ernie Els is making a move up the board, picking up an eagle on hole seven to move into a tie for second with McDowell.

Tiger Woods needed to follow his 5-over performance from Saturday with an aggressive, nearly flawless game, but he was unable to do so. He struggled quite a bit early, collecting four bogeys and a double bogey in the first five holes. He's settled in since then, but that still leaves him at 5-over through 11 and 9-over for the tournament. There's a crop of six men tied for third place at 3-over, but at the moment it looks to be Furyk or McDowell's tournament to lose.
