Casey Martin had a good run but has been knocked out of the 2012 U.S. Open. Although the Oregon Ducks golf coach failed to make the cut after coming in at 9-over after Friday's second round, there remains no shortage of reasons to tune in for the championship rounds of the Grand Slam event, beginning with the third round on Saturday.
Perhaps the most compelling reason to watch is the fact that Tiger Woods is in a three-way tie at the top of the leaderboard. While the leaders' score of 1-under may not seem too impressive in most other tournaments, that speaks to how truly difficult the course at the Olympic Club in San Francisco has been thus far.
