U.S. Open Golf 2012 Odds: Tiger Woods In Front, Jim Furyk Close Behind

The field keeps getting narrower and the course keeps getting tougher at the 2012 U.S. Open. The third round will begin on Saturday morning and will feature odds-on favorite to win Tiger Woods atop the leaderboard. Keeping Woods company both at the top of the leaderboard and at the top of the odds are Jim Furyk and David Toms. The three men will enter Saturday with a two-stroke lead over the next-closest players.

Casey Martin may be off the board and out of the odds, but anything could happen over the next two days. It wouldn't be a surprise if any of the leaders had a horrific round on either Saturday or Sunday. The Olympic Club in San Francisco doesn't appear interested in making any friends.

Here are the current top odds on who will win the 2012 U.S. Open:

Tiger Woods - 5/4
Jim Furyk - 5/1
David Toms - 10/1
Graeme McDowell - 14/1
Nicolas Colsaerts - 25/1
Matt Kuchar - 22/1
Jason Dufner - 33/1
Hunter Mahan - 28/1
Charl Schwartzel - 33/1
Lee Westwood - 33/1
K.J. Choi - 40/1
Justin Rose - 50/1
