The Final Field has been announced for the Masters, and you should be able to view it here.
There are three players that'll be competing at this year's Masters with regional ties.
Most prominent among these golfers is Fred Couples.
Couples was born in Seattle, went to college in Houston, and now lives in Palm Springs. Of the three players with regional ties, Couples is the only one to win the Masters. In fact, this is the 20th anniversary of Couples's victory, capturing the green jacket in 1992.
Two more golfers will be covered here on SB Nation Seattle.
- Ben Crane was born in Portland, Oregon, went to school in Eugene at the University of Oregon, and now lives in Westlake, Texas. His best finish at Augusta was in 2010 with a tie for 25th.
- Kyle Stanley was born in Gig Harbor, Washington and still lives in Gig Harbor after spending his college days in Clemson. This'll be his first Masters appearance.
Stay tuned for more coverage of The Masters.
