Mark Calcavecchia Wins 2011 Boeing Classic In Playoff

Mark Calcavecchia and Russ Cochran just kept on going at each other all tournament long. After Calcavecchia held a one shot lead at -11 through 13 holes, Cochran drained a birdie on 14 to tie things up. Calcavecchia wasn't going to let that slide though, and he thundered right back with a birdie on his own at 16 to give himself back a one stroke lead. Cochran was like, "Oh, you want some of that?" and he was all like, bang, another birdie at 17, now we're even! Calcavecchia wasn't having any of that though, and he laid the smack down right back with a birdie of his own, now I got all the power!

Then on 18, Cochran one-upped Calcavecchia with an eagle. Two shot swing, one shot lead for me! Calcavecchia went, "Oh no you didn't", and then BAM, birdied it straight up to send this thing into a playoff for the ages (and for the ages, i mean for the senior citizens among us). Calcavecchia finished things off by paring his first playoff hole. Cochran doubled, and it was over--Mark Calcavecchia proved that he was the one.
