Round 2 of the Boeing Classic has seen the top of the leaderboard change hands a few times amongst golfers Kenny Perry, Russ Cochran and Jeff Sluman. Those three currently rank in that exact arrangement from first to third, with Perry leading the way.
Perry has shot an impressive -4 on the day through 13 holes. He began the day in a tie for sixth place after shooting a -1 (69) in Round 1.
Cochran and Sluman both sit at -1 through 12 holes. The duo finished Friday's Round 1 1-2 (with Cochran in first and Sluman in second). They have maintained their relative positions, but will want to finish off their last six holes strong as they try to edge out Perry for first.
The day's most impressive rounds have come from golfers like Perry who have shot -4 or better. Other golfers who have shot or are currently sitting on -4 in Round 2 are Bill Glasson (who has jumped from a tie for 41st to a tie for 13th with his 18-hole performance) and Tom Kite (who has jumped from a tie for 53rd to a tie for 16th and has one hole left). Gary Hallberg leads the way for all scores Saturday at -5 through 16 holes.
