2011 Boeing Classic: Jeff Sluman Rises To Top While Kenny Perry, Michael Allen And Gary Hallberg Impress

Jeff Sluman has risen to the top of the Boeing Classic leaderboard as Round 2 continues to progress. Meanwhile, Kenny Perry, Michael Allen and Gary Hallberg have used impressive rounds to make significant jumps of their own.

Sluman began the day in second with -3 (67 in Round 1). He has moved up to first with another -3 performance in Round 2, hitting a birdie, a bogey and an eagle through eight holes.

Perry started the day in sixth (-1 overall in Round 1 with 69) and is now at -3 for the day with birdies on the first, fifth and eighth holes. He currently sits in second and will look to carry the same momentum into the back nine.

Allen began the day in a tie for 19th place. He shot +2 (72) in Round 1 but has atoned for it with four birdies on Saturday. Allen is -4 for the day through 13 holes.

Hallberg may be in line for the best performance of Saturday. After shooting +6 (76) in Round 1, Hallberg is -5 on Saturday and has moved up from 63rd to 14th.

Round 1 leader Russ Cochran, who shot -4 (66) on Friday, is +1 on the day through eight holes. He is in third place.
