The Oregon State Beavers are leading 24-10 over the 19th-ranked UCLA Bruins entering the fourth quarter of Saturday afternoon's game. The Beavers are once again shutting down the offense of a ranked team just a week after beating then-No. 13 Wisconsin 10-7.
After a strong start, Beavers quarterback Sean Mannion had some mixed results in the third quarter, but he was ultimately able to expand Oregon State's lead back to 14 points. Overall, he's completed 23-of-33 passes for 331 yards, two touchdowns and one interception through three quarters.
Oregon State's run defense has been a key part of Saturday's effort, though. Coming into the game, UCLA had the fifth-best rushing offense in the entire nation, but the Bruins have rushed for just 77 yards on 23 carries against Oregon State, an average of 3.3 yards per attempt.
