Oregon State's season opener against Nicholls State was postponed Wednesday due to travel issues as a result of Hurricane Isaac.
The game, which was scheduled for Sept. 1 at 12 p.m. PT, could possibly be made up on Dec. 1. The Beavers' last scheduled game is currently November 24 against Oregon. They could host Nicholls State the following week, as long as the Beavers do not qualify for the Pac-12 Championship game.
Nicholls State's campus, located in Thibodaux, La., is already closed as the area prepares for the hurricane. They were originally planning to take a charter flight to Eugene on Friday morning. An earlier report from the Associated Press said the game could be rescheduled for either Sunday or Monday in Corvalis, but that no longer appears to be the case.
Oregon State will now open its season on Sept. 8 against the Wisconsin Badgers.
