Pac-12 Football Standings 2012: Ducks have shot at Pac-12 Championship despite Stanford loss

The Oregon Ducks lost to the Stanford Cardinal on Saturday, meaning they need a Stanford loss at UCLA if they want to reach the Pac-12 championship game.

The big news from the weekend's Pac-12 action was the Stanford's victory over Oregon, putting the Cardinal just ahead of the Ducks in the conference standings and leaving Oregon needing help to reach the Pac-12 championship game. Stanford can clinch the Pac-12 North with a win over UCLA, but if Stanford loses and the Ducks beat Oregon State, then Eugene would host the title game.

Elsewhere in the standings, the Washington Huskies improved to 5-3 in-conference and 7-4 overall with a victory over Colorado, and the Oregon State Beavers moved to 6-2 in-conference when they thrashed Cal, 62-13. Finally, Washington State fell to 0-8 in-conference with a 46-7 loss to the ASU Sun Devils.
