The Oregon Ducks are on their way to breaking plenty of scoring records if they can sustain their offensive pace for four more games. Oregon set single-game records for a USC opponent last week by pouring on 62 points and over 700 yards of total offense.
Oregon is averaging 54.3 points per game, just trailing the 56 point average set by 1944 Army. The Ducks are on pace to score 761 points this season, which would top 2008 Oklahoma (716 points).
Oregon could score 30 or more points for the 23rd straight game, which would break the record Hawaii and Oklahoma State set in previous weeks. They could become the first team to score more than 42 points in 13 straight games (the 2004 and '05 Texas teams did it in 12 straight).
Oregon next heads to Berkeley, Calif., the only place where Chip Kelly offenses have had trouble, scoring 16 points in 2008 and 15 points in 2010.
