As the stretch run begins in college football, teams are jockeying for position to get to the best bowl game possible. For teams like the Oregon Ducks, it's trying to get into the BCS national championship game. For others, anything to validate their season will do.
ESPN projects the Ducks playing against the Alabama Crimson Tide in the BCS National Championship game. Oregon is currently No. 4 in the BCS rankings but still have the Oregon St. Beavers, Stanford Cardinal and USC Trojans left on their schedule so if they win out, they should improve their computer ranking enough to leapfrog the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Kansas St. Wildcats for the other spot in the title game.
The Beavers are projected to play in the Rose Bowl against the Nebraska Cornhuskers or the Hyundai Sun Bowl against North Carolina St. The Beavers are coming off their first loss of the season but could still be the Pac-12 representative in the Rose Bowl if they finish the season strong. They could also play spoiler to the Ducks as the two teams play in the final game of the regular season.
The Washington Huskies are projected to play in either the Kraft Fight Hunger bowl against Navy or the MAACO Las Vegas bowl against Fresno State.
