The Gonzaga Bulldogs have released their schedule for the upcoming men's basketball season, and like all Mark Few led Gonzaga teams, this schedule has some very solid non-conference games - including Michican State, Xavier, and the battle of the two "mid-majors" in Butler. The big difference this time is that many of those games will be played in Spokane for once - and it looks like the Bulldogs won't be putting as many miles on the frequent flier program this year as they have done in previous years.
Even with the introduction of BYU into the West Coast Conference and with the rise of Saint Mary's, Coach Few has had to schedule tough non-conference slates in order to boost Gonzaga's profile come selection time. Despite the loss of big Rob Sacre, the Zags are generating early hype on the strength of returning four of five starters and landing the big Polish seven footer Przemek Karnowski.
