The Gonzaga Bulldogs men's basketball team opened their season with a blowout 103-65 win against Southern Utah on Friday.

Six different Bulldogs scored in double figures, led by 7'1 freshman Przemek Karnowski. Karnowski scored a team-high 22 points off the bench, while making 10-of-16 field goal attempts. Kanrowski wasn't the only key contributor off the Gonzaga bench as David Stockton finished with 12 points and four assists off the bench.

Four of Gonzaga's five starters scored at least 10 points with Guy Landry Edi leading the starters with 16 points and seven rebounds. Elias Harris, who was named to the preseason Wooden Award list earlier in the week, scored 12 points and pulled down seven rebounds. Harris wasn't very efficient, however, as he made just 3-of-10 field goal attempts.

Jackson Stevenett led the way for Southern Utah with a game-high 29 points on 11-of-15 shooting. Gonzaga jumped out early, leading 44-27 at halftime and never let up. The Bulldogs led by as many as 38 points in the second half.
