Report: Elias Harris Will Play Against Kansas State

The Gonzaga Bulldogs, coming off a loss in Spokane to San Diego State, will face their biggest test of the season on Monday as they take on the No. 3 Kansas State Wildcats in Kansas City at the O’Reilly Parts CBE Classic. The Zags got some good news today about injured forward Elias Harris. The Gonzaga sophomore injured his Achilles’ in last week's loss, but is expected to play against the Wildcats on Monday.

The Spokesman-Review’s Jim Meehan passed along an update on Harris’ status today from Kansas City.

Enough about that. Putting together a short GU-Kansas State preview and I’ve learned Zags forward Elias Harris is expected to play on Monday. He left last Tuesday’s game with an Achilles’ injury. Not sure if Harris will start.

The Bulldogs need all the help they can get against a formidable Kansas State team and getting Harris back into the fold is a huge boost. Harris has been battling a shoulder injury since the season began and was clearly not at his best against SDSU last week.
