After finding out that Gonzaga forward Elias Harris had not torn his Achilles tendon, Gonzaga released a statement saying their star player will be evaluated on a day-to-day basis.
SPOKANE, Wash. – A MRI performed on Gonzaga University men’s basketball sophomore Elias Harris Wednesday revealed no tear of his right Achilles tendon.
Gonzaga men’s basketball trainer Jennifer Nyland said Harris will be evaluated on a daily basis and his status for Monday’s game against third-ranked Kansas State University could be a game-day decision.
The news has gotten better and better for Harris after what would’ve been a huge blow to a rising star and the program relying on him.
