Scott is a journalist living in Southern California who, as it relates to Seattle sports, has developed some unique ties over the last 11 years to Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll and members of his staff, as well as many coaches and players throughout the Pac-12, first as a former Division 1 college football and high school coach, and secondly as a beat writer covering USC football. He covers the Pac-12 and Seahawks for SB Nation Seattle, and also does work with SB Nation's Seahawks site, Field Gulls. He is a frequent guest on radio shows across the country talking the Trojans, the Pac-12 and the Seahawks. Scott is a member of the Football Writers Association of America.
