Selection Sunday is pretty much unquestionably one of the greatest sports days of the year. People who have next to no idea about college basketball look at a fresh, unmarked bracket with delight before trying to win that office pool (only played for pride, of course).
This Sunday, March 17, it's back as one last warning to clear as much of your schedule as you can before full-blown March Madness takes over the country next week. We don't stand a chance, but that's fine.
When: 6-7 p.m. ET.
TV coverage: CBS (a follow-up shows airs at 7 p.m. ET on truTV immediately after the brackets are announced and features Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Rex Chapman).
Hosts: Greg Gumbel, Greg Anthony, Doug Gottlieb and Seth Davis host the actual selection show, with remote analysis and insight from Jim Nantz, Clark Kellogg and Steve Kerr.
