Just as usual, you can expect to see a lot of big names pop up during the Super Bowl, and we're not talking about Colin Kaepernick and Joe Flacco. Of course, for many, the Super Bowl is more about the commercials than it is about the football, and for that reason, many companies will spare no expense. Samsung even rolled out the red carpet for some of the biggest names in movie comedy.
Paul Rudd ("Knocked Up", "This is 40") and Seth Rogen ("Pineapple Express", "Knocked Up") will star in a commercial directed by Jon Favreau ("Iron Man", "Swingers") for Samsung Mobile. The ad even has a title: "The Big Pitch." Though they won't go into detail about what actually happens in the commercial (while many other companies have just pre-released their full ads), you can see a teaser for the ad here.
Other funny people that you can see in Super Bowl ads on Sunday include Amy Poehler ("Parks and Recreation", "Baby Mama") in an ad for Best Buy, Tracy Morgan ("30 Rock", "SNL") in an ad for Mio Fit, and Jimmy Fallon ("SNL", "Fever Pitch") in an ad for Ford. You can also see Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson ("Walking Tall", "Fast Five") in a "Got Milk?" campaign.
We have no idea yet which ad will win "Funniest of the Year," but we certainly have a lot of candidates. Maybe we will even get another appearance from Betty White ("Golden Girls").
