The San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens are set to take the field for Super Bowl XLVII on Sunday, Feb. 3 in New Orleans. As has become customary, kickoff will be at 6:30 p.m. ET, but plenty of other events will take place in the days and hours leading up to the big game.

The 49ers are scheduled to get into New Orleans on Sunday, Jan. 27, while the Ravens are expected to arrive a day later. Both teams will hold press conferences on the night they arrive. Tuesday, Jan. 29 is the official Super Bowl Media Day, where each team will get its hour in the spotlight.
The 49ers will have the first media session at 11 a.m. EST, and the Ravens' hour session will follow that. On Friday, the Harbaugh brothers, Jim and John, will hold a joint press conference.
The fans will also be provided some entertainment leading up to Super Bowl Sunday. The VH1 Best Super Bowl Concert Ever will take place at The Sugar Mill on Friday at 8 p.m. local time (9 p.m. ET). That show will air live on VH1. On Saturday, the CMT Crossroads Special will take place at 10 p.m. local time. That will air live on CMT.
On the day of the game, pre-game coverage begins at 11 a.m. ET, leading up to pre-kick coverage at 6 p.m ET. Alicia Keys will be handling the National Anthem, while Beyonce and Destiny's Child will perform this year's halftime show.
