FedEx Cup 2012 Standings: Rory McIlroy Leads, Kyle Stanley 30th, Ryan Moore 35th

Rory McIlroy has taken control of the FedEx Cup with a huge victory this past weekend in the Deutsche Bank Championship. He moved up from fourth to first and now holds 4,799 points thanks to three wins and eight top ten finishes. McIlroy leads Nick Watney and Tiger Woods by over 1,300 points and is in good shape to win it.

There are three golfers with the Pacific Northwest ties who are still in the FedEx Cup race. Ben Crane was born in Portland and went to school at the University of Oregon, Kyle Stanley was born and resides in Gig Harbor, and Ryan Moore was born in Tacoma.

Thanks to Moore's top ten finish at the Deutsche Bank Championship, he moved all the way up from 53rd to 35th this weekend. Stanley finished in a tie for 42nd, which kept him perched right where he is at 30th place. Ben Crane missed his second straight cut and has fallen from 39th to 67th in a span of two weeks.
