After an upset victory over the Stanford Cardinal, the Washington Huskies just missed returning to the top 25 of the USA Today Coaches' Poll, landing at No. 26, just behind the No. 25 Boise State Broncos, which receives 18 more points than the Huskies.
Stanford sees their support crumble as a result of the loss to the Huskies, as the Cardinal falls nine spots, from No. 9 to No. 18, this week. The Oregon Ducks remain at No. 2 in the latest iteration of the poll, and will take on the Huskies in a marquee Pac-12 showdown next weekend.
The entire poll continues to trail No. 1 Alabama, which lands significantly ahead of the Ducks, as well as the No. 3 LSU Tigers and No. 4 Florida State Seminoles.
The USC Trojans, along with handful of teams, benefit from Stanford's big fall this week, as the Trojans climb one spot to No. 12 this week. The Trojans land ahead of the Cardinal despite suffering a loss at Stanford two weekends ago.
The Pac-12's Oregon State Beavers are also rising, climbing four spots to No. 17 in this week's poll.
