The 2012 Tour Championship has wrapped up, and it was Brandt Snedeker who came out on top. After clinching a victory on Sunday afternoon, Snedeker won $1.44 million of the eight million dollar purse. Justin Rose, who finished in second place three strokes back of the leader, will receive $864,000 for his efforts this weekend.
Ryan Moore, who hails from Tacoma, Washington, finished in a third-place tie with Luke Donald. Both players take home $468,000 after shooting -6 the last four days. Webb Simpson and Bubba Watson rounded out the top five, with both earning $304,000.
Tiger Woods won $248,000 for finishing in a tie for eighth place with Hunter Mahan. Rory McIlroy was one of five golfers to finished tied for 10th place, and they all received a little more than $205,000.
