The Tour Championship 2012: Justin Rose, Brandt Snedeker Tied For Lead At 8-Under

At the conclusion of the third round at The Tour Championship, Justin Rose and Brandt Snedeker have emerged as co-leaders at 8-under overall. The leader for most of Saturday, Jim Furyk, has dropped to fourth place after posting a triple-bogey on the 17th hole.

Through 16 holes, Furyk was tied with Rose and Snedeker for the lead at 8-under, but he ran into major trouble on the 17th hole. The triple-bogey has dropped him to 5-under overall for the tournament, leaving him tied for fourth place along with Rory McIlroy and Bubba Watson.

Snedeker and Ryan Moore were the major risers in the field on Saturday, as Moore is currently third on the leaderboard at 6-under overall after posting a 5-under 65 on Saturday. Snedeker was even better, hitting a 64 in the third round to burst to the top of the leaderboard.
