2012 Tour Championship: Ryan Moore Makes Run, Jim Furyk Keeps Lead

Early in the third round of the Tour Championship, Jim Furyk is holding a one-stroke lead over the field at 7-under overall. Through five holes on Saturday, Furyk is at even-par, maintaining his small advantage as some new contenders have emerged at East Lake Country Club in Atlanta, Ga.

Justin Rose, Bubba Watson and Ryan Moore are all currently tied for second place in the field at 6-under overall. Moore's appearance here is particularly surprising, as he's birdied five of the first 10 holes on Saturday to burst to the top of the leaderboard.

Behind that trio, Brandt Snedeker is making a run of his own, as he's 3-under on the day to move up to the fifth on the leaderboard at 5-under overall. Bo Van Pelt, who began the day at 5-under, is now sitting in sixth place at 4-under overall.

Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods are part of a group of players sitting at 2-under overall early in the third round.
