NFL Odds: Seahawks 3-Point Underdogs Vs. Packers

New, 1 comment

Despite an impressive 27-7 home win against the Dallas Cowboys, the Seattle Seahawks are home underdogs for the second straight week. Seattle is currently a 3-point underdog to the Green Bay Packers according to Odds Shark.

While the Packers remain the favorite for the Monday Night contest, the line has swayed towards the Seahawks since it opened with Green Bay a 6-point favorite. The Seahawks dominating performance against the Cowboys is likely a big reason why the line has moved.

The fact the Packers are favored shouldn't come as much of a surprise. Dating back to the 2010 playoffs, Green Bay has been favored in 20 of its last 21 games. The only game in which the Packers weren't favored was Week 16 of last season when Green Bay chose to rest many of its starters.

The fact the Packers are just 3-point favorites says a lot about what oddsmakers and bettors think of Seattle. Excluding Week 16 of last season, the Packers haven't been less than a 4-point favorite in a game since the 2010 Super Bowl against Pittsburgh.

Seattle is 4-0-1 against the spread in its last five appearances on Monday Night Football.
