After two rounds of the 2012 Tour Championship, Jim Furyk leads the field at 7-under. Furyk entered the day just one-under par, but a strong showing on the front nine propelled him to shoot 6-under in the second round, which was the best of any golfer this week. He holds a one-stroke lead over Justin Rose, who shot 2-under on Friday to improve his overall score to six-under. He began the day tied with Tiger Woods for the tournament lead.
Bubba Watson and Bo Van Pelt are tied for third place at 5-under, with Dustin Johnson and Matt Kuchar just one stroke back of them.
Rory McIlroy is tied for seventh place at 3-under. After a slow start in the first round, it appears the world's No. 1 player is starting to find his stride. Robert Garrigus and Zach Johnson are also tied with McIlroy at 3-under.
