Washington State Announces Home-And-Home Series With Wyoming, Starting In 2015

The Washington State Cougars announced a home-and-home football series with the Wyoming Cowboys on Thursday.

The series will begin with WSU hosting the Cowboys in 2015. The Cougars will complete the two-game series with a return trip to Laramie in 2018. The two teams have not played since 1990, with WSU winning three of the previous five contests.

The Cougars have scheduling agreements in place for a number of their non-conference games through 2018 and WSU athletic director Bill Moos said he was glad to add Wyoming to that list:

"The Wyoming series falls in line with my goal to add quality nonconference opponents for our football program. With future series that include Wisconsin and Boise State, in addition to games against Auburn and BYU, this series will complement our future nonconference schedules."

The Cougars future schedule currently includes a road game at Wisconsin in 2015 and a home game against San Jose State in 2018.
