Mike Zunino Continues Hot Hitting, Taijuan Walker Tonight

The Jackson Generals beat Jacksonville 3-2 last night, with Stefen Romero going deep and Mike Zunino going 2-for-3. Zunino is now hitting .370/.423/.652 in 14 games for Jackson before he'll head to the Arizona Fall League after the season is over. For Romero, it was his 23rd homer of the season and he's actually hit better since his promotion from the High Desert.

Brad Miller adds more power to the Mariners bunch of middle infielder prospects, hitting his 40th double of the season in the win.

Anthony Fernandez got the start but no decision as he went just four innings, and Felix's big brother Moises Hernandez got the win in relief. Jackson improved to 79-59 on the season.

Taijuan Walker will be making his 25th start of the season today. The young right-hander has struggled for most of the second half of the season and it would be encouraging to see him pick it up today. Walker has allowed four runs or more in three of his last four starts.

The game kicks of at 12:05 PST.
