WSU Vs. Colorado: Cougars Three Score Favorites Over Woeful Buffs

The Washington State Cougars are favored by three scores over the Colorado Buffaloes.

Presswire

It's been a long time since the Washington St. Cougars could be considered prohibitive favorites to beat anyone in the Pac-12, but that's exactly where they stand for this Saturday's contest with Colorado. Washington State opened up as 16 point favorites, and the line moved up to 18.5 to 19 points.

The Cougars lost decisively in their first game against BYU, and then struggled in their subsequent two contests. Washington State squeaked by Eastern Washington at home and UNLV on the road. It's hard to imagine them beating anyone by multiple touchdowns, but if they can do it to anyone it'll be Colorado.

The Buffs are coming off a thoroughly embarrassing 69-14 defeat to Fresno State and have already dropped contests to underwhelming opponents like Colorado State and Sacramento State. If Washington State has a great shot at grabbing a win in conference play, it has to be in this contest.
